Every year all University of Illinois Extension staff are required to complete the Civil Rights Training course. If you are an Illinois Extension staff member please self-enroll in this course using the passcode provided in the email sent during the week of September 25, 2023. This course is for all Learn @ Illinois Extension instructors. While it is a work-in-progress,  you can find information about providing enrollment instructions for your learners, where to get more Moodle training, how to use the H5P activity. We will be building out this space over tie and hope that you can also use it as a place to connect with other instructors.

Illinois Extension staff are invited to join the inaugural cohort for this course, which is designed to help staff become (more) conversant with the topic of climate and its impacts on Illinois citizens. The course provides an introduction to climate science, training in talking about climate with your audiences, and guides and challenges you to incorporate climate education in your existing programming.

This course has reached its maximum enrollment limit. There will be additional cohots for Illinois Extension Staff later in 2024.

Course content will be availale to enrolled participants beginning January 22, 2024.

This course is designed for Illinois Extensin staff, as an aid for learning about the course development tools avaialble in Moodle. Please contact uie-learn-admin@illinois.edu to request access to this course. 

This training is an introduction to using Moodle, Extension's learning management system (aka Learn @ Illinois Extension) and designed for staff who are completely new to Moodle or for those who are just getting started using the platform.

In this hands-on training you will be able to follow along as Adena Wilson and Stephanie Kaufmann guide you through the site and the basic steps of course creation, different course formats, settings, activity types, enrollment options and reports.

At University of Illinois Extension, we provide free testing of dial-gauge pressure canners to community members who preserve foods at home through canning. This training is designed for Illinois Extension staff to learn how to provide this testing.

Unit 9 MarCom Orientation Course for new or existing Extension staff members working in Grundy, Kankakee, and Will Counties.  In this asynchronous course, participants will learn all about the unique aspects of Marketing and Communication efforts in Unit 9 along with a basic onboarding in basic communication policies.
