Amir Sadeghpour is an Assistant Professor of Soil Management at Southern Illinois University.  In this presentation, Sadeghpour focuses on managing cover crops and nitrogen in corn production systems. He highlights the benefits of cover crops, such as reducing erosion, capturing nutrients, and improving soil health. Sadeghpour discusses various cover crop management practices, including species selection, seeding rates, and termination timing, and their impact on nitrogen cycling and corn yield.
