Carl Bradley is an Extension Professor and Plant Pathology Specialist at the University of Kentucky.  In this presentation, Bradley discusses the identification and management of important wheat diseases, focusing on Fusarium head blight (scab) caused by the fungus Fusarium graminearum. He explains the symptoms, impacts on yield and quality, and the importance of fungicide application timing. Bradley also highlights the challenges of fungicide resistance and the significance of using resistant wheat varieties for effective disease management.
