Welcome 4-H Volunteers

We are excited to have you join our team of volunteers! In this space, you will find four training modules designed to help volunteers understand the expectations of their role and to have the skills, competencies, and information necessary to be successful.

As a new volunteer, you are required to complete the first module: Volunteer Orientation. We also encourage all our volunteers to complete the Chaperone and the Program Planning training modules, as well as the resources provided in each of them.

All adults who chaperone youth overnight are required to complete the Chaperone Training. If you are not required to take this training, you can skip it and you are welcome to return to this site to take it, if your role as a volunteer changes and you are required to take it

This online course is designed to introduce 4-H Volunteers to the judging process used at 4-H fairs and shows. The information provided will explain the conference judging technique, walk you through a typical judging event, and guide you through the evaluation process.
